Key legislative changes from July 1, 2025:
✅ Thanks to the CSED extra measure, mothers will be allowed to work from the 90th day after childbirth while still receiving 70% of their CSED benefit.
✅ From the same date, both CSED and GYED will become exempt from personal income tax.
✅ Major change to simplified employment (EFO): the 90-day limit per employer is replaced by a 120-day total annual limit across all employers.
✅ The Enforcement Act will be amended: the portion of income protected from garnishment will increase to 60% of the net minimum wage — 116,029 HUF in 2025.
✅ Family tax allowance will increase as follows:
– For 1 child: +15,000 HUF
– For 2 children: +60,000 HUF
– For 3 or more children: +49,500 HUF per child
